Integrating Ideological and Political Education Across Educational Levels: A Social Integration Approach

Existing mechanisms are no longer adequate to meet contemporary demands for “collaborative education” combining ideological and political education. Contemporary social theory provides a scientific basis for understanding and guiding social change. This paper explores a collaborative mechanism for integrated ideological and political education in primary, secondary, and higher education from the perspective of social integration theory with the goal of unifying educational goals and achieving continuity in the educational process. The collaborative mechanism requires action at three levels–macro-level policy support, meso-level management collaboration, and micro-level innovation–to promote effective cooperation and resource sharing among educational stakeholders. Continuously improving the collaborative mechanism for ideological and political education will facilitate social development and instill young people with a sense of social responsibility, innovative spirit, and practical ability.
